About Me
Healing Through Advocacy, Connection & Integrative Care

My journey into social work is deeply personal. From my early experiences in refugee resettlement and community-based mental health, I witnessed firsthand the resilience of individuals facing immense systemic barriers. These experiences solidified my belief in trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy as a path to empowerment and healing.
I have extensive experience working with marginalized and vulnerable communities, focusing on neurodivergent individuals, survivors of trauma, and those impacted by systemic injustice.
My approach is:
✔ Humanistic, strengths-based, and person-centered – Emphasizing collaboration, transparency, and empowerment.
✔ Neurodiversity-Affirming – Valuing the unique strengths and perspectives of neurodivergent individuals while ensuring a sensory-friendly, adaptive therapeutic environment.
✔ Trauma-Informed & Somatic-Focused – Recognizing how trauma and stress are stored in the body and working holistically to promote healing.
✔ Culturally Responsive & Anti-Oppressive – Ensuring therapy is tailored to each client’s cultural background, intersectionality, and lived experience.
In addition to direct clinical work, I have supported nonprofits and agencies in developing crisis response policies, training staff, and integrating anti-racist/anti-oppressive practices into their frameworks.
Let’s Connect
* I acknowledge that I live and work on the unceded lands of the Núuchi (Ute) people, including the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, with historical ties to the Jicarilla Apache Nation. I honor their enduring connection to this land and commit to ongoing learning, advocacy, and supporting Indigenous-led initiatives.
